LVDT Core Connecting Rods are available for all LVDT series. These rods are a convenient way to connect the core to the object being measuproductgridtitlemedium. Made from non-magnetic 303 stainless steel, continuously threaded rod, they are available with #1-72, #4-40 and #6-40 threads and can be supplied in 1, 2, or 3 foot lengths. Order by thread type and desiproductgridtitlemedium length. Core connecting rods can be easily fabricated from non-magnetic stainless steel bar stock. Macro Sensors also provides design recommendations for customers who want to fabricate their own core connecting rods. LVDT mounting blocks represent a method of mounting the LVDT without the necessity of machining such an item and provide a split block configuration which will not stress or distort the LVDT body. These blocks are made from linen based phenolic and are provided with LVDT mounting diameters suitable for most LVDTs. They feature pre-drilled and tapped holes to facilitate mounting to a base on either the bottom or side. They include the clamp screw for securing the LVDT. |

Teflon® bore liners are available for most free core LVDTs. These inexpensive bore liners are useful where the LVDT core cannot be supported concentrically with the inside diameter. Teflon® bore liners prevent wear of the core and/or ID of the LVDT and provide a slippery, low friction surface for the core to ride on. Bore liners are installed at the factory prior to calibration. Specify model number with Teflon® Bore Liner. |

Spare LVDT cores are available for Macro Sensors LVDTs as well as for LVDTs from other manufacturers. These spare cores are available in three different diameters, multiple lengths and with English or metric female threads. Diameters available include 0.110”, 0.188” and 0.250”. To order spare cores, refer to the original core or the manufacturers specifications to obtain the diameter, length and thread type. All spare cores are manufactuproductgridtitlemedium from high permeability magnetic alloy and are hydrogen annealed to optimize their magnetic properties. Most spare cores are available from stock. |

The L-Cal 2.0
is a precision device capable of calibrating LVDTs up to 2.000” range.
Utilizing a precision non-rotating spindle micrometer head, the L-CAL
2.0 is useful for calibrating both free core as well as spring loaded
LVDTs. This calibrator comes complete with adaptors and core extension
rods, permitting the calibration of a wide variety of LVDTs having different
diameters and core threads. This unit is also available with a micrometer
head having metric graduations. The metric unit has a range of 50 mm and
is designated as the L-Cal 50. The L-Cal calibrators are a necessity to
satisfy most quality systems for instrumentation calibration requirements.
