LVDT Products for Automotive Racing Applications

Below are products that are typically used in Automotive Racing Applications. LVDTs are among one of the most robust sensors available on the market today. When you need reliability, LVDTs are the choice of automotive testing engineers.

Our AC LVDT Indicators and Controllers offer the ability to have greatly reduced stroke to length ratios approaching 1 to 1 while maintaining superior linearity to standard signal conditioning electronics. Inquire with a sales engineer to learn  how this is done and applicable free core LVDTS offered.

HSA 750 Hermetically Sealed AC-LVDT Position Sensors
Macro Sensors’ HSA 750 Series of 3/4 inch (19 mm) diameter AC-Operated LVDTs is designed for a wide range of position measurement applications. These are rugged hermetically sealed sensors, constructed entirely of stainless steel, and intended for general industrial use. The coil windings are sealed against hostile environments to IEC standard IP-68 and electrical termination is through a sealed axial connector. The mating connector plug is supplied with the unit. GHSIR 750 Spring-Loaded DC-LVDT Position Sensors
The Macro Sensors BBP family of 8 mm diameter pencil-type gaging probes offers ultra-precise measurement of dimensions in a wide variety of Q.C., SPC, and industrial metrology applications. They utilize a linear ball bearing assembly precisely fitted to a hardened-and-ground, non-rotating probe shaft to minimize radial play and the effects of side loading. This results in the probes' exceptional repeatability of 0.000006 inch (0.15 µm). [read more]
CD 375 Miniature LVDT Position Sensors
Macro Sensors’ CD 375 Series of 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) diameter AC-operated LVDTs are small size contactless linear position sensors for both OEM and end user applications. They are available in full scale measuring ranges from ±0.025 inch (±0.63 mm) to ±2.0 inches (±50 mm) and offer 50% larger core-to-bore radial clearance, 0.012 inches (0.3 mm), than similar size units from competitors. [read more]
PR 750 General Purpose LVDT Position Sensors
Macro Sensors’ PR 750 Series of 3/4 inch (19 mm) diameter AC-Operated LVDTs are general purpose contactless linear position sensors for both OEM applications and end user requirements. They are available in full scale measuring ranges from ±0.050 inch (±1.25 mm) to ±10 inches (±250 mm) and offer a core-to-bore radial clearance of 0.031 inches (0.25 mm) with the standard core supplied.
