|
Pennsauken, New Jersey, U.S.A.-based Macro Sensors, a company specializing in the manufacture of LVDT-based linear position sensors and gaging probes, offers a broad range of linear variable differential transducers in various configurations and outputs to satisfy the requirements of both current and legacy turbine installation. The company manufactures exact replacement power generation LVDTs that match other manufacturer designs. Units are available in a variety of configurations including: hermetically sealed a.c. and d.c.-operated LVDTs with axial or radial connectors; UL/ULC-listed a.c.-operated LVDTs approved for operation in Class 1, Division 2 and Class Zone 2 hazardous locations; and double-shielded and epoxy encapsulated a.c.-operated LVDTs that withstand high shock and vibration levels. Macro Sensors also provides non-standard and custom-designed units for OEMs and system integration. The company currently manufactures exact replacement LVDTs that are form, fit, and function equivalents with the same electrical and mechanical specifications as Westinghouse stock units, the company said. The LVDTs are implemented for position measurement on governor valves, throttle valves, reheat/stop valves, interceptor valves and many other control valves. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
